Paul Lukacs’ latest book, “Inventing Wine,” proves one thing: It really does get better with age. The James Beard award-winning author chronicles the evolution of the popular drink, starting with it’s invention 8,000 years ago.

You'll discover how wine went from being a sacred offering to a source of sustenance to a consciously pursued pleasure.

A lively and comprehensive history, Lukacs dives deep to reveal the complex cultural, social, and intellectual revolutions that led to the global selection of wines we sip today.
